Helioscreen has been a weaver
of coated fiberglass fabrics ('Screen') since 1974 and is one of the
major manufacturers of this product and a founding member of the 'Screenglass
Solar Control Consortium'.
Almost three-quarters of the output of Helioscreen's weaving plant
is exported to more than 50 countries. Screen is an open fabric woven
from glass yarns, coated with a bulk-dyed polymer compound.
Placed on the outside of a window as a roller blind, it offers a very
efficient way to block the sun from overheating a room, yet it keeps
the view to the outside virtually unobstructed. Placed on the inside,
it ensures good visual comfort by reducing the intensity of light
and glare.
The fabric has a very high level of UV-resistance, weather-resistance
and mechanical properties and stops up to 90% of the solar energy.
That's why it keeps the temperature from rising too much and saves
energy on air conditioning. |
